MATCH is ON!!! Saturday 24th January 2009 @ 10am. We will be playing against Trinity Christian Centre in a friendly match :) Details have yet to be confirmed as I am waiting for their contact person to send me the venue details etc. They will book the referee and field and all we have to do is show up and pay of course, heh!
I am not sure how good they are, although I think they were in the same MWS tournament as us last year. Anyway, I've already got 13 players, but I'm hoping to get more, reason being, think maybe 11 out of 13 of us (or maybe 13/13) have not touched a soccer ball in more than 6 months!!!! And alot of us are unfit, thus we may need to sub every 5mins or so! Haha, ok maybe I'm exaggerating, but we are mostly an unfit bunch. Thus more players the better :) hehe. If you have not received an SMS from me about the match or about this saturday 17th January 2009 kick-a-bout, please leave a shout-out here or contact me, or Shawn or Derek (depending on who you know in the team) to contact me.
As mentioned above, this saturday 17th Jan @ 10am, we're going to NUS to play abit of soccer. Preferably playing on the field so we can dust off our boots and check that they are still usable :) BUT do bring along a pair of court shoes, we might play at the futsol court in the event of unavailability of field or some other reason. Also if you have a football at home, PLEASE bring, more footballs the better. Do take note on 17th that it is NOT a match, but I hope all who are playing on the 24th can come down, because all of us havnt been playing, so it would be good for us to come down and have alittle kick-around. Those not playing on 24th are also welcomed to come down :) bring your friends etc if they wanna kick some football.
