Logo Design

An Appeal to ALL!

Hey i was thinking that it be great if we could have a 'club'/team logo. However due to my severe lack of creativity in the art and craft department i would like to ask anyone who has the talent to draw and design, and who knows the team, to have a go at designing this logo. There is no real theme or idea, as long as it's not offensive and too tacky... we'll put it to the team to decide. As for a 'prize'/reward/whatever you want to call it... sorry dude/dudette i aint bill gates and neither is this team Man U(YEAHH!!!)... so what im saying is that the only thing i can offer you in return is the satisfaction of being able to see 11+X no. of pple wearing your design and playing soccer... haha thanks in advance!!

updates.. and a few thoughts

Once again boys, its me...

First of all let me thank ALL who came and supported us last sat... for those who werent there, read the last few posts. We drew 2 - 2, an admirable score considering we had quite a few missing in action. Will upload photos soon!! (dependant on our photographer of the day Jing)

There was a challenge this week from the team we played (and beat) at Yishun. They want a rematch against their full squad this sat, but i turned them down. We'll probably play them either on the 16th or on the 30th of Dec. Also the team which was at the field before us that day also wants a match with us... so its also either on the 16th or 30th, which means, the month of Dec is full of matches! However, bearing in mind that we do have quite a big squad, please DO NOT feel disappointed if theres a match and you're not selected to play. We'll try to rotate things around as much as we can equally. I would encourage those who are not playing to still come down to support the team! Team line ups will be decided by the few core members and if there is any thing anyone feels unhappy about, please let us know.

This week we shall all have a kick about session at the usual NUS. As some of us know, the field we usually play on is out for maintainence, so we shall all try out luck on the main pitch at the running track again. hopefully we have a good turnout so we can play 7's. So its 915 at the running track this week.

Just wanted to put out a few ideas to the team... I just realised that we have non-church people playing with us on sat. i was thinking if it would be good for a few of us to chip in say 5-7 dollars each to buy maybe 3 jerseys so that in future when we play matches we can let them use the jerseys to represent our humble setup. I just felt that we could be more inclusive so that those who don't go to church with us can still have match time with the team.
Also i was thinking maybe once every 2 months or something... we use the saturdays to hang/chill out somewhere... have alittle team bonding away from the soccer field.. could go for a beer... dinner... whatever man..

but hey these are just ideas... may or may not happen but if you got any ideas to help the team improve.. feel free to leave a msg on the tag! thats all from me.. SEE YA ALL THIS SAT!!
