match report 21/04/07

The score today was 4-2 in the favour of SSC. Superbly finished goals came from Elfie, Shawn, Sean and Alfred.

But seriously, besides the win, we all had a super good time. didn't we boys?
I'm sure somewhere along the line God said "LET THERE BE FOOTBALL."
And indeed there was.
We would like to thank God for not bringing down the rain so that His beloved little children could enjoy the wonderful game He created.

Many significant events happened this lovely afternoon.

Jeremy Kwok was handed the number 2 jersey for SSC. You've earned it mate.

Elfie scores on his belated birthday match which is also his second goal for SSC. Fantastic.

(uncle) Alfred celebrates his 40++ birthday afternoon today with SSC and scores! first for the team, and what a day to score it on. What a player. May God bless you on this special day and many other days to come. cheers.

Tany is another birthday boy (man) who turns 24 today. He celebrates his birthday afternoon with SSC along side (uncle) Alfred. He didn't score but came really close. There's always next week. And may God bless you too on this special day and many other days to come. cheers.

Sherm-inator also known as Sherman Chan, who is the brother of Cheeky Chan, joins us for the first time and was real close to scoring on his debut. We welcome you to SSC and hope to see you more and don't worry, opportunities to score are just waiting for you.

And xiang-eh had his little adventure at left wing. Although i prefer you as a full back, but good try.

On an overall view, you guys did a fantastic job today.
Not bad handling and a few good saves Kevin schoff (big bird).
Lionel, Jeremy, bAs, Xiang-eh, Jason, Alfred, Chao. Power pack defence.
Sean, Derek, Desmond, Tany. Fantastic work rate and great control of the mid field.
Sherm-inator and Elfie. Great runs and good composure.

Its a tight one between Alfred and Derek for the man-of-match.
However, i have made my decision and have selected Alfred as the man of the match. Well done and God bless.
